Traffic Tech Gulf (W.L.L) recently won new contracts for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations for Qatar Foundation Stadium, Msheireb Downtown Doha and City Center Doha Mall. Traffic Tech Gulf will supply and install Electric Vehicle Chargers manufactured by CIRCONTROL.

Guard Against Over-height Vehicles in Doha

Priority for Emergency Vehicles in Doha

Traffic Tech (Gulf) recently completed the first phase of Doha’s Emergency Vehicle Preemption System (EVPS), a design-build project commissioned by the Qatar Public Works Authority, Ashghal. The EVPS is a GPS based system that allows traffic signals at intersections to give green light to an approaching vehicle that is equipped with a preemption transmitter.

Sixty people from Traffic Tech (Gulf) were honored by Ashghal for the fast track completion of the traffic flow improvement project along Al Corniche Street in Doha. Senior Ashghal officials including president Mr. Nasser Bin Ali Al-Mawlawi and director of infrastructure affairs Mr. Jalal Yousef Al-Salihi led the honoring ceremony where Traffic Tech, along with three other contractors and other government officials, were awarded.

The Abu Dhabi Department of Transport has awarded Traffic Tech (Gulf) – Abu Dhabi a Traffic Signal Maintenance Contract for the Al Ain City. Valued at over US$ 4.5 million, the contract will run for two years covering maintenance and development of all traffic signals throughout the city.

Doha International Airport Cargo Terminal Upgrades Its Parking Facility

Traffic Tech (Gulf) installed an Integrated Parking Management System (PMS) at the Cargo Terminal of the Doha International Airport (DIA), equipped with Qatar’s first Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) System that has lane width coverage of up to 5 meters. The project was an expansion of DIA’s existing PMS that was also installed by Traffic Tech.

Truck Weigh Stations on Salwa Highway in Qatar are Now Operational

Sigma Metal Industries Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Sigma Metal Industries (SMI), a member of the Traffic Tech Group, recently received its ISO 9001:2008 certification. SMI has been assessed and found to be in compliance with ISO’s Quality Management System for design, development, fabrication and installation of Traffic Signs, Overhead Gantries & Cantilevers, Steel Structures, Steel Cabinets, and General Metal Fabrication. With this achievement, SMI becomes the first ISO Certified Traffic Sign manufacturer in Qatar.
Parking Will Soon Be Easier at City Center Mall in Doha-Qatar
