New Parking Management System at Mecca Mall, Jordan

Traffic Tech Middle East installed a Parking Management System at the Mecca Mall, a 195,000 square meter shopping mall with 350 shops, considered the first mega mall in Amman, Jordan.
The two entries and two exits of the mall’s multistory parking tower were equipped with automatic barriers, ticket dispensers, and cash stations for parking fee collection. The system, supplied by Scheidt & Bachmann (S&B), is centrally managed with S&B’s Entervo Software that provides ease in generating reports and overall system monitoring.
Mecca Mall’s introduction of pay parking will address congestion issues brought by heavy volume of vehicles from surrounding business establishments that use the mall’s previously free parking facility. Pay parking is expected to improve the mall’s service to its genuine shoppers.
