Year 2003:

Traffic Tech (Gulf) has been awarded a contract to supply, install,
commission and maintain new Integrated Parking Management System for
the Doha International Airport. The system supplied by Scheidt and Bachmann/
Germany, includes beside the sophisticated control of 5 entries and 4 exits,
overhead gantry installed parking guidance signage and digital CCTV camera
capturing system, all are connected through a fiber optic network to a
central management computer. The system is expected to be operational in
January 2004.

Traffic Tech Middle East has been awarded a contract by the
Municipality of Greater Amman to supply, install, commission and maintain
Red Light and Speed Camera Systems to be installed at 10 signalized
intersections in Amman . The cameras supplied by Gatso./ Holland and
expected to be operational in March 2004.

Traffic Tech Group will be exhibiting at Gulf Traffic,
www.gulftraffic.com, that
will be held in Dubai in the period 8-10/12/2003. Traffic Tech is holding
the largest stand at this event and will be exhibiting a wide range of
products including:

SCATS fully adaptive central traffic management system.
- Control room equipment including control console and video wall.
- Tyco PSC traffic signal controller.
- Zelisko signal heads and variable message signs.
- Tyco StrobeCom signal pre-emption system for emergency vehicles (
provides priority for emergency vehicles at
signalized intersections)
- Gatso Red Light Cameras and speed enforcement systems.
- Solar Tech solar powered arrow panels and variable message signs.

Traffic Tech (Jordan) has been awarded a contract by the Aqaba
Ports Authority to supply, install and maintain three 100 ton truck
scales at the Aqaba Port . The scales electronics are supplied by
Cardinal Scale Mfg Co/ USA and the steel decks are locally manufactured .
All three scales are expected to be operational in December 2003 .
- August, 2003 Traffic Tech Middle East
handed over three 300ton car license plates pressing machines with eight
inking machines for the Public Security Directorate. The machines were manufactured by Wilhelm Grewe Co. in Germany.
- May, 2003 Traffic Tech (Jordan) was awarded by The Ministry of Public Works for the
third year in a row the traffic signals maintenance tender. This tender is for the purpose of maintaining the traffic signals on the main roads throughout the Kingdom.
Year 2002: - July, 2002
Traffic Tech
(Gulf) has successfully commissioned on July 12, 2002 the Qatar Traffic Management Center (QTMC). The TMC centrally controls part of the traffic signals in Doha connected to SCATS fully adaptive system. The scope of the project included the supply and installation of traffic controllers, traffic signal hardware, detectors, communications and control room equipment. Other services included; SCATS system setup, fine tuning and full system operation and maintenance for a period of 14 months. As part of the project evaluation, before and after travel time study has been conducted on part of the project corridor, which showed significant improvements in the traffic flow after the commissioning of the SCATS system. SCATS has been proven to calculate optimum cycle times and green splits in real time, on a cycle by cycle basis for all intersections and at the same time provide green wave coordination when warranted.

- Sept., 2002 Traffic Tech
Middle East has recently held a training course in the period between September 18th - 25th for the Municipality of Greater Amman engineers and technicians on the Programming and Maintenance of the TYCO PSC MK3 Traffic Controllers. This training was held after handing 11 new PSC MK3 controllers to the Municipality last August.
- March, 2002 Traffic Tech (Jordan) was awarded by The Ministry of Public Works for the second year in a row the traffic signals maintenance tender. This tender is for the purpose of maintaining the traffic signals on the main roads throughout the Kingdom.
- July, 2002 Traffic Tech Middle East handed over 288,000 Car License Plates for the Public Security Directorate. The plates were manufactured by Wilhelm Grewe Co. in Germany.
- Oct., 2002 Traffic Tech participated at the Gulf Traffic Convention /
Dubai, Oct. 26-28, where we exhibited the range of Solar Powered Variable Message Signs and Arrow Boards manufactured by
Solar Technology, Inc.
